"pulmonary edema" - use the connector AND, for example:

Use
lowercase for the search word and uppercase for the connector.
You may have to look through several pages before you find a
citation that is helpful to your search. If abstracts are not
available, it will be noted just after the citation. Full articles
often are not available, but you may want to call a medical school
library such as the University of Missouri, University of Oklahoma,
University of Arkansas, etc. to inquire about purchasing a copy,
should you desire.
After you find relevant articles with abstracts, look to the
right for the "Related Articles" term and click to narrow your
