Janelle Bailey, Affiliated Lawyer

Janelle Bailey was born and raised in Kansas City. She obtained her high school diploma from St. Teresa’s Academy, received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Physics from Illinois Wesleyan University, and her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. During law school, she and her team received first place in the regional negotiation competition and placed within the top 16 of the national negotiation competition. She served as an intern at the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office, worked at the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office as an assistant prosecutor, and worked at large Kansas City area law firms before leaving to join the legal team of Brad Bradshaw.

Outside of work, Janelle loves serving her community. Janelle completed the Ross T. Roberts Inn of Court Program in 2015. She teaches continuing legal education courses for the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association as well as the Missouri Bar. She serves on the board of the Jackson County Bar Association, the Kansas City Volunteer Lawyers & Accountants for the Arts Association, the Women in STEMM Committee at the Central Exchange, and the Missouri Bar’s Copyright, Trademark, and Patent Committee. Additionally, she was appointed by the mayor as a commissioner to the Kansas City Municipal Officials and Officers Ethics Commission.
